A bit about me... I'm Andy Barnes, a Virtualisation Consultant providing server/desktop/application virtualisation and business continuity solutions for a leading IT distributor. My role primarily involves designing, implementing, upgrading, health checks, pre-sales and tech events of VMware and Citrix products. Such as vSphere, View, Site Recovery Manager and XenServer, XenDesktop and XenApp, including complimentary products from other vendors.

 

I'm passionate about IT especially virtualisation, my website www.VMadmin.co.uk is perhaps a reflection of this, helping advise the technical audience. I genuinely enjoy a challenge and working on complex and secure systems. Over the years I have personally invested time and money to ensure my skills are kept up-to-date. This has lead me to achieve a number of leading industry certifications, qualifications and awards.
