Prerequisites and Requirements Presentation Server 4.5 (XenApp 5.0) Print E-mail
 

1. Install a fresh operating system of:

Windows Server 2003 SP1 or SP2

Windows Server 2003 Release 2

 

 

2. Apply all available windows updates to the server

 

3. Make the server a domain member server

 

4. Install the "Terminal Services" role

4.1 Open add remove programs (Start --> Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs)

 

4.2 Click "Add/Remove Windows Components" on the left side.

4.3 Select "Terminal Server", Click Next.

 

4.4. Review the warning about how terminal services operates, and how it affects applications installed before making it a terminal server. Click Next.

 

4.5 Choose the required security level based on the applications that will be used. Click Next.

 

4.6 Specify the terminal server license server, if evaluating select specify in 120 days. Click Next.

 

4.7 Choose the license mode based on your licensing. Click Next.

 

4.8 Restart the server once installation is completed.

4.9 Terminal services is now successfully installed.
