If you want to change permissions on specific exchange objects in the exchange system manager the security tab can be enabled to let you do so.

This is a per user registry change for exchange system manager.

To enable the security tab in the exchange 2003 system manager...

1. Close all open exchange system manager windows.

2. Open REGEDIT.

regedit.exe

3. Navigate to HKEY_Current_User\Software\ Microsoft\Exchange\ExAdmin

4. Under "ExAdmin" create a DWORD called "ShowSecurityPage"

5. Set the "ShowSecurityPage" DWORD to 1 for ON and 0 for OFF.
