Changing restricted access to a Volume on an EqualLogic PS Print E-mail

If you already have an existing volume/LUN on an EqualLogic PS and want add/change access this is how...

For example you could add change access for any of the following items:

  • CHAP username
  • IP address
  • ISCSI Initiator

1. Connect to the EqualLogic Group Manager using a web browser to the IP address of the group.

2. Login with the group password.

3. If adding another CHAP user go to...

"Group Configuration" on the left navigation and Click on the "iSCSI" tab.

4. Under "Local CHAP Accounts" add a new local user via the "Add" button.

This user will then be able to be specified on the volumes you want to change or add to.

5. On the left navigation go to:

"Volumes" and select your volume.

6. Under "Access Control List" add or modify to your requirements. Which can include:

  • CHAP username
  • IP address
  • ISCSI Initiator
